Karol G Unites Stars at Coachella, Announces Tour Dates
Karol G closed her landmark Coachella headline slot by announcing a new tour. The trek will promote her fourth studio album, Tropicoqueta.
Tour announcement
During the final song, “Provenza,” giant screens flashed the message “Nos Vamos de Tour.” Karol directed the crowd and echoed the announcement into the microphone.
She had previously told Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy that a tour had been planned. The run was paused to focus on designing the Coachella production.
Tropicoqueta arrived in June 2025, and fans had been expecting a tour announcement. The news follows her record-breaking Mañana Será Bonito tour from 2023 to 2024.
Medellín onstage in Indio
Karol invited hometown stars to join her set, bringing Medellín to Indio. J Balvin and Ryan Castro shared the stage for a celebratory segment.
Balvin opened with hits such as “Ay Vamos,” “Ginza,” and “La Canción.” Castro then joined for a medley of collaborations and his own tracks.
The pair also announced a joint album, Omerta, set for release on May 8.
High-profile guest turns
Peso Pluma returned to perform “Qlona” alongside Karol. Becky G also joined for a repeat performance of “Mamii.”
During weekend one, Karol featured reggaetón pioneer Wisin. She also brought out Mariah Angeliq and Greg Gonzalez, who performed the new song “Después de Ti.”
Representation and reception
Karol said she designed the show to honor her Latina community and provide representation on Coachella’s main stage. The finale leaned into a hora loca celebration.
