‘Saturday Night Live’ Announces Last Hosts and Musical Guests

Colman Domingo ended his hosting debut with an emotional closing speech. Much of his remarks were cut off on NBC as the broadcast ended.

Season 51 nears its finale

Season 51 will conclude on May 16 and then pause for summer. The show first aired this season on Oct. 4 with Bad Bunny hosting and Doja Cat as musical guest.

Producers released the lineup for the final three episodes. The dates, hosts and musical guests are set for May 2, May 9 and May 16.

May 2: Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo will serve as both host and musical guest on May 2. This marks her hosting debut and her third time as a musical guest.

Her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love, is due June 12.

May 9: Matt Damon and Noah Kahan

Matt Damon returns to host on May 9. It will be his third outing as an SNL host.

Noah Kahan will perform as the musical guest. Kahan previously appeared on the show and released The Great Divide on April 24.

The episode airs ahead of Damon’s leading role in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, scheduled for July.

May 16: Will Ferrell and Paul McCartney

Will Ferrell will host the season finale on May 16. It will be his sixth time hosting and his first since 2019.

Paul McCartney will be the musical guest. This will be the Beatle’s fifth SNL musical appearance. His new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, arrives May 29.

Upcoming broadcast schedule and streaming

There will be no new episode on Saturday, April 18. The show takes a two-week hiatus before returning on May 2.

New episodes air Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Episodes become available the next day on Peacock. Past SNL episodes stream anytime on Peacock.
