Lewis Capaldi Unveils ‘Stay Love,’ Confirming Fans’ Vinyl Theories
Lewis Capaldi has released a new song titled “Stay Love”. He debuted the track live at a sold-out Madison Square Garden on 16 April.
The song appears as the fifth addition to his Survive EP. It joins the existing tracks Survive, Something In The Heavens, Almost and The Day That I Die.
Stay Love was produced by The Monsters & Strangerz alongside Michael Pollack. The recording is presented as a stripped-back piano-led ballad.
Mystery vinyl and fan theories
A mystery vinyl appeared in record shops across the UK and the US. That disc contained a piano-led ballad with pitched-down vocals to mask the singer.
Fans widely theorised the anonymous release belonged to Capaldi. Filmogaz.com notes the official release is confirming fans’ vinyl theories and ends the online guessing game.
