Little Rock Police Investigate River Market Shooting Injuring One Person

Little Rock police are investigating shots fired late Saturday in the River Market district. Officers found a person with a gunshot wound and requested medical care.

Police response

Officers arrived shortly before 11 p.m. at 300 E. President Clinton Ave. A department spokesperson, Mark Edwards, confirmed the call.

Police discovered the victim on scene and began an initial investigation. Authorities processed the area for evidence.

Victim and hospital

One person was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials had not released the victim’s name by Sunday afternoon.
