Jensen Ackles Responds Hilariously to Viral Hair Salon Pic Payment Query

Jensen Ackles rose to fame as Dean Winchester on Supernatural. The series ran for 15 seasons and built a large international audience, including in India.

A photoshopped picture of Ackles appeared online around 2011-12. The image showed a semi-bald version in one frame and his full hair in another.

A Mumbai hair salon later used the picture to promote hair transplants. The image resurfaces online repeatedly and has been memefied almost every year since.

Filmogaz.com showed the banner to Ackles during promotions for The Boys season 5. He said he knew the image and reacted with amusement. He praised the barbershop and laughed that the picture still looked good.

Ackles, 48, said he was not worried about not being paid for the informal promotion. He added he was surprised the image keeps turning up. He described the photo concept as a kind of “heal and reveal.”

Antony Starr, Ackles’s co-star on The Boys, joined in the laughter. Starr joked that he wanted the image and would hang it on his wall.
