Diggins’ 2025 season and role
Diggins, a seven-time All-Star and six-time All-WNBA selection, averaged 15.5 points per game in 2025. She also produced six assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
Her three-point percentage climbed to 36.5 percent, her best mark since 2021. She recorded four double-doubles, including a 24-point, 14-assist game in May against the Phoenix Mercury.
Health, age and future outlook
The 35-year-old considered retirement but signed on for a second stint with Unrivaled this winter. That commitment suggested she planned to keep playing in the WNBA.
She will turn 36 midway through the 2026 season. Career metrics show a 32.6 percent three-point average, with six seasons below 30 percent across 11 years.

The Seattle Storm finished 23-21 in 2025. That record put them only two games ahead of the ninth-place Los Angeles Sparks.
