Sione Fukofuka Announces Scotland Women’s Squad for Six Nations Opener
Scotland have named their team to play Wales in the 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations. The selection was unveiled ahead of the match at the Principality Stadium.
The squad announcement referenced Sione Fukofuka and the Scotland Women’s Squad for the Six Nations opener. A training session at the Oriam featured several of the selected players.
Back three and midfield
Chloe Rollie will start at full-back. Rhona Lloyd and Shona Campbell occupy the wing positions.
Meryl Smith returns at inside centre after a knee injury in 2024. Emma Orr is selected at outside centre. Orr scored the final try the last time these teams met at the 2025 Rugby World Cup.
Half-backs and leadership
Leia Brebner-Holden starts at scrum-half. She was a try-scorer in the win over Wales.
Helen Nelson takes the stand-off role and is listed as vice-captain. Rachel Malcolm continues as captain, starting at blindside flanker.
Forward pack
The front row features Leah Bartlett, Lana Skeldon and Elliann Clarke. The second row pairs Emma Wassell with Hollie Cunningham.
