Jack White to Perform at Rarely Played Metro Detroit Venue

Jack White to Perform at Rarely Played Metro Detroit Venue

Jack White will play Pine Knob Music Theatre on July 25, promoters confirmed Thursday. This marks his first appearance at that Clarkston amphitheater.

The show joins a new slate of North American dates. Tickets go on sale April 17 through Ticketmaster. A pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Monday.

New music and recent performances

White released two singles last week. They are titled “G.O.D. And the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico.”

He performed both songs on Saturday Night Live. Jack Black joined him for that appearance.

Tour routing and international legs

The North American dates are part of a broader summer tour. White will also play venues in Europe and Asia.

The international run begins May 30 in Sigulda, Latvia. He is also a late addition to Coachella’s lineup this weekend.

Why Pine Knob matters

Pine Knob is a rarely used venue in Metro Detroit for White. He has played nearly every major local stage across projects.

His Detroit history spans solo shows and appearances with the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, and the Dead Weather.
