WWE Star Endures Head Injury Ahead of WrestleMania 42 Match
A WWE star appears to have sustained a head injury during a backstage segment on Monday Night Raw. The incident occurred during a confrontation involving Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
What happened backstage
Producers aired a quick promo in which Perez sought to thank Morgan. Vaquer then charged the area and shoved Morgan into Perez. Both women appeared to collide heads as Morgan hit a television monitor.
Fans noticed the bump immediately. Morgan shared photos on X showing visible swelling. She captioned one post, “You’re mine now b—h.”
Reactions and social posts
Perez also posted images. They showed a raised bump on her forehead and her icing the area. Both posts drew concern from viewers and peers.
Medical status and WrestleMania implications
Wrestling Observer reported both Morgan and Vaquer were placed in concussion protocol after the segment. Despite the concern, the WrestleMania 42 match between the two currently remains scheduled.
Vaquer has held the Women’s World Championship for nearly 200 days. She won the vacated title at Wrestlepalooza in September by defeating Iyo Sky.
Past title history
Liv Morgan is a former Women’s World Champion. She held the belt from May 2024 to January 2025. Morgan lost the title to Rhea Ripley on Monday Night Raw’s Netflix premiere.

Morgan has been featured on several recent Raw episodes. She made an entrance at Madison Square Garden on March 30, 2026. She also appeared at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Feb. 2, 2026 and spoke with Vaquer in Cleveland on Feb. 9, 2026.
