Two parents are facing legal consequences following an incident at ZooAmerica, located within Hersheypark. Their toddler was reportedly injured by a wolf after reaching through an enclosure. According to local authorities, the event took place over the weekend. The child, only 17 months old, squeezed through a narrow gap in the wooden fence surrounding the enclosure. While the parents were approximately 25 to 30 feet away, they were reportedly distracted, as both were using their phones.
Injury Outcome
Upon reaching through the primary fence, the child had their hand bitten by a wolf. Fortunately, several bystanders quickly intervened. They were able to assist in pulling the toddler to safety.
