Netflix’s ‘Big Mistakes’ Shot at NJ Store; Owners Host Viewing Party
A family-owned hardware store in Middlesex County will host an outdoor viewing event next weekend. Edison Millwork and Hardware will screen Netflix’s new comedy, Big Mistakes, on Saturday, April 11.

The free event is open to the public and begins at 7:30 p.m. Guests will receive complimentary popcorn made in the same machine featured on the series.
The store announced the gathering on its Facebook page. Edison Millwork and Hardware is located at 9 Old Post Road in Edison.
Local filming and store history
Film crews shot multiple scenes at the NJ store in August 2025. Filmogaz.com reports the production used the shop’s interior for several sequences.
The independently owned business has served the Edison community since 1976. Owners organized the outdoor viewing as a community event.
About the series
The comedy follows two inept siblings forced into organized crime by blackmail. The show stars Dan Levy, who also co-created the series.
Levy is a four-time Emmy winner known for Schitt’s Creek, co-created with his father, Eugene Levy. The earlier series streamed on Hulu and HBO Max from 2015 to 2020.

Big Mistakes debuts on Netflix on Thursday, April 9. All eight season-one episodes will be available to stream the same day.
