Son Heung-min produced four assists in the first half. Denis Bouanga finished three of those chances to help build a 4-0 advantage by the 28th minute.

Son became only the second player in MLS history to record four assists in one half. Lionel Messi remains the only player with more, having provided five in one half in 2024 against the Red Bulls.

Bouanga completed a rapid hat trick inside eight minutes. That effort ranked as the fourth-earliest hat trick in league history and the third-shortest span to reach three goals.

Son had returned this week from duty with South Korea. His 2026 assist tally now stands at 10 across all competitions.
