Gemma Collins, Mo Farah Star in I’m A Celebrity… South Africa Cast
ITV brings the all-star I’m A Celebrity… spin-off back to screens on Monday 6 April 2026. The series was filmed in South Africa and returns with a mix of familiar faces and late arrivals.
Format and context
The South Africa edition first aired in 2023. Myleene Klass won that initial run.
This second series was pre-recorded like the first. The finale, however, will be filmed live in the UK. Viewers will be able to vote for the winner.
Key returning contestants
- Scarlett Moffatt, 35. The Gogglebox alum won a previous series and is now a parent. She said being asked back felt overwhelming but welcome.
- Seann Walsh. The comedian reappeared after joining as a latecomer in 2022. He finished fifth that year and is now a father to two children.
- Beverley Callard. The Coronation Street veteran took part in the 2020 Wales series. She revealed a breast cancer diagnosis in February and has since returned to work.
- David Haye, 45. The former boxer last appeared 14 years ago and underwent spinal surgery in 2015. He says he feels better prepared for the trials this time.
- Sinitta, 62. The singer competed in 2011 and looks to use this return to tackle long-standing phobias.
- Sir Mo Farah, 43. He joined the 2020 Wales version and previously finished fifth. Farah was knighted in 2017 and retired from athletics in 2023.
- Ashley Roberts, 44. Crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2012, she moved to the UK after that series. Roberts is back and balancing nerves with excitement.
- Adam Thomas. A finalist in 2016, he is known for embracing trials and expects the unexpected in camp.
Latecomers and returning fan favourites
- Gemma Collins, 45, joins the series as a latecomer. She famously left the jungle after three days in 2014 and said the experience has stayed with her. Collins spoke to Filmogaz.com at the launch event.
- Craig Charles, 61. His previous stint was cut short by a family bereavement. He says stamina is a newer concern in his sixties.
- Harry Redknapp, 79. The 2018 winner returns declaring his intent to enjoy camp life again.
- Jimmy Bullard, 47. The former footballer was the first star eliminated in 2014. He faced a memorable trial with eels and pythons.
Notable backstories and motivations
Many contestants previously recorded Wales-based versions during the Covid era. Those runs left them missing the traditional jungle atmosphere.
Several stars described the chance to revisit camp as a way to confront fears and rebuild public profiles. Illness, retirement, and family life also shaped their decisions.
Gemma Collins, Mo Farah star in I’m A Celebrity… South Africa cast. Fans can expect rivalry, emotion, and classic trials as the series unfolds.
Tune in to ITV on 6 April to see which former campmates thrive, and who will reach the live final back in the UK.
