Universal Orlando Offers Free Tickets with ‘Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ Souvenir Button
Universal Orlando Resort is distributing a complimentary Super Mario Galaxy movie souvenir button while supplies last. Team members handed out the buttons at park entrances on April 1, the film’s release day.
Where to pick one up
After initial distribution, buttons are available at the Concierge kiosk in CityWalk. Guests should visit the kiosk early, as quantities are limited.
Design and packaging
The button shows Mario against a pink-and-blue cloudy backdrop. Additional characters and icons circle the hero, and the movie logo appears on the face.
Each pin is mounted on a backing card. That card depicts characters in boats looking up at shooting stars.
Digital offer tied to the button
A QR code on the back of the card links to Fandango. Visitors who sign up as Fandango members can receive two free tickets to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
This connection effectively lets Universal Orlando guests unlock free tickets when they use the souvenir button’s QR code.
Photo ops and merchandise
A themed photo opportunity for the film is set up at CityWalk. Guests can also buy a Luma shoulder pal at select locations.
Epic Universe offerings
At Super Nintendo World in Epic Universe, limited-time treats are available. The menu includes a Rosalina-inspired lemon-blueberry cupcake.
Visitors can also meet Yoshi during the limited engagement.
