Billy Strings Announces Fall Headline Tour Dates

Filmogaz.com reports that Grammy-winning musician Billy Strings will extend his headline tour into the fall. New arena stops include Denver’s Ball Arena (two nights), Inglewood’s Kia Forum, San Diego’s Pechanga Arena and New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center.

Billy Strings has announced additional fall headline tour dates across major U.S. markets. Tickets go on sale April 3 at 10:00 AM local time.

Theater shows and ticket eligibility

Strings will play special theater performances in select cities. To request theater tickets for the Paramount Theatre (Denver), The Orpheum Theatre (Los Angeles) or Saenger Theatre (New Orleans), fans must first purchase a ticket to that city’s arena date.

The eligibility window for the ticket request period closes April 6 at 11:59 PM local time. Some theater shows use Ticketmaster requesting.

Spring and summer stops

The artist will continue a busy spring run before the fall leg. Spring highlights include two-night stands at Boston’s Agganis Arena, Charlottesville’s John Paul Jones Arena and Portland’s Cross Insurance Arena.

Strings will also host his first annual Ionia Freak Fair this summer. The festival features performances by Strings, Sierra Hull and Greensky Bluegrass.

Recent releases

Strings’ full-length album Highway Prayers won Best Bluegrass Album at the 68th Grammy Awards. It marked his second straight win in that category.

The record was co-produced by Billy Strings and Jon Brion. Released on Reprise Records, the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart. It became the first bluegrass album in 22 years to top that list.

After Highway Prayers, Strings released an exclusive Apple Music Nashville Sessions EP. He also issued Live at the Legion with Bryan Sutton. That album was recorded live on April 7, 2024, at Nashville’s American Legion Post 82. The release features 20 traditional bluegrass and folk songs, including renditions of Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” and Doc Watson’s “Way Downtown.”

Honors and milestones

Since his 2017 debut, Strings has earned multiple high-profile awards. He won Best Bluegrass Album at the 68th, 67th and 63rd Grammy Awards.

Other honors include Artist of the Year at the 2023 and 2022 Americana Music Awards. He also earned Entertainer of the Year at the 2025, 2023, 2022 and 2021 International Bluegrass Music Awards. Pollstar recognized him as Best New Headliner in 2022 and Breakthrough Artist of the Pandemic in 2021.
