Why the promotion matters
The film earned worldwide acclaim and won two Oscars. It also produced a hit soundtrack, and a sequel is reportedly in development.
Netflix said in a March 26 news release that the collaboration aims to bring the film’s cultural and culinary influences to life. Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, noted the campaign turns the film’s rivalry into an experience fans can enjoy.
The in-restaurant battle between Huntr/X and the Saja Boys is live. Fans can discover surprises inside each meal package and unlock app-exclusive material tied to the Battle for the Fans.
