Camden Murder Investigation Underway
A man in his mid-20s was killed in a shooting on Chalton Street in Camden late on Saturday, 28 March. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at about 23:00.
Paramedics attended the scene but a 26-year-old man was pronounced dead at the location. His next-of-kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
Incident details
Fast CCTV checks show the victim sitting in a white Nissan Juke when he was shot several times. The suspect arrived on a bicycle and left the scene the same way.
Police believe the attack was targeted. They continue to review footage and other evidence from the area.
Investigation
Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke is leading the inquiry. Her team is working to identify and apprehend the attacker.
