Updated Results: 2026 Detroit Supercross Championship
Ford Field hosted Round 11 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season on March 28, 2026. The Motor City saw dramatic races and major points swings.
450SX main event
Ken Roczen stormed to victory after passing Jorge Prado on lap three. He led the remaining 24 laps for his second win of the season.
This marks Roczen’s first multi-win campaign in five years. The Suzuki rider cut into the championship gap and now sits 14 points behind the leader.
Chase Sexton returned from injury and finished second. He won his heat and benefited from on-track incidents to secure the podium.
Malcolm Stewart earned his first podium of 2026, finishing third. Justin Cooper took fourth, while Eli Tomac crossed fifth.
Hunter Lawrence suffered a heavy crash in the whoops. He remounted, pitted for a damaged front brake, then fell again and finished 19th.

250SX main event
Cole Davies controlled the 250SX race after a patient charge from ninth on lap one. He used superior whoop speed to pass leaders and pull away.
This victory was Davies’ third straight. He padded his title advantage to nine points over Seth Hammaker.
Seth Hammaker finished second after leading earlier and managing his pace. Jo Shimoda completed the podium in third.
Coty Schock looked set for a podium but crashed in the whoops with about a minute remaining. He remounted to fourth. Henry Miller posted his first career top-five at fifth.

Qualifying highlights
Hunter Lawrence topped 450SX qualifying with a 51.505 lap. Ken Roczen followed closely at 51.565.
Malcolm Stewart, Chase Sexton, and Justin Cooper rounded out the top five qualifiers for the premier class.
