Harrogate Court Sees Two Men Charged in Teen Robbery Case
Two men have appeared in court after an assault and theft in Harrogate. Police allege the defendants stole a gold bracelet from an 18-year-old on Ashfield Terrace.

The attack took place at about 9pm on Wednesday 25 March. The victim, aged 18, suffered minor injuries during the encounter.
North Yorkshire Police say the bracelet was taken during the confrontation. Officers later detained two suspects nearby.
Suspects and charges
The defendants are identified as Ethan Platt, 21, and Simon Winterburn, 56. Both face robbery charges over the alleged theft.
Platt is accused of additional offences. He faces charges of intentional strangulation and assault of an emergency worker.

Police say Platt resisted arrest. An officer sustained a hand injury that required medical treatment.
