Filmogaz.com surveyed NBA fans as the regular season winds down. The poll comes with only a few games left and award voting looming.

More than half of voters predicted he could win. Fifty-six percent picked him as the eventual MVP.

Not every fan expects him to win. Twenty-two percent of those surveyed placed him second in the MVP race.

Fans noted recent play and team standing as key factors in their votes.

Luka has led the league in scoring this season. He is averaging 33.6 points per game.

He also produced a 60-point performance against the Heat. Those numbers fuel debate about award worthiness.

Survey respondents credited his leadership for his team’s success. He has helped the Lakers reach the third seed in the Western Conference.

Voters still view other stars as top contenders. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama remain popular choices.

The poll noted SGA has won the award before. Voters also pointed out Wembanyama plays on a team with a better record than the Lakers.

Historically, Luka’s best MVP finish came in 2024, when he placed third. A strong season end could change that mark.
