Northwestern Unveils 2026 Outdoor Track Schedule

Early-season plans

The Wildcats will open outdoors by splitting the roster between two meets. Parts of the squad travel to Raleigh, N.C., for the Raleigh Relays.

April slate

April begins with a nearby stop at the Chicagoland Championships. That meet is set for April 10-11 in Elmhurst, Ill.

Northwestern then heads west to the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., on April 16-17. The team will also field competitors at the Gibson Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., on April 17.

On April 25, the Wildcats visit the Penn Relays in Philadelphia. The month ends with travel and experience-building meets.

Regular-season finale and postseason

Northwestern closes the regular season at the Wisconsin Twilight on May 1 in Madison. The schedule lists seven regular-season meets before postseason begins.

The Big Ten Outdoor Championships are May 15-17 in Lincoln, Neb. The NCAA West Preliminary follows May 27-30 in Fayetteville, Ark.

Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., will host the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 10-13. The venue returns as the site for the national finals.
