A 1952 Topps Mantle #311 graded SGC VG+ 3.5 sold for $101,475 during REA’s March auction. The price set a record for that card in the SGC grade.

The Mickey Mantle 1952 Topps card effectively surpassed six figures at the REA auction. Another 1952 Mantle, graded SGC Authentic, fetched $46,740.

Auction highlights

The sale included nearly 4,000 lots across sports and vintage cards. Several complete and near-complete sets attracted strong interest.

A near-complete 1989 Upper Deck Baseball set graded PSA 10 realized $35,670. A complete 1986-1987 Fleer Basketball set, PSA 8, with the full 11-card sticker set, sold for $27,060.

REA President Brian Dwyer described the results as strong and record-setting. He said the auction sets a positive tone for upcoming sales.
