PlayStation Plus Essential April Game Leak Reveals ‘Free’ Offer
A leak has identified one PlayStation Plus Essential title for April. The disclosure arrived ahead of Sony’s official announcement.
Leak source and credibility
The claim appeared on Dealabs and was posted by user billbil-kun. The insider has a history of accurate pre-release reveals.
Reported April PlayStation Plus Essential title
The headliner named in the leak is Lords of the Fallen, the 2023 reboot of the 2014 action-RPG. The reboot is set more than 1,000 years after the original.
Players take the role of Dark Crusaders seeking to overthrow the demon god Adyr. The game blends dark fantasy with challenging combat.
Platforms and release timing
Lords of the Fallen launched in October 2023. It released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Critical and commercial reception
Metacritic averages were about 70 on PS5, 75 on PC, and 77 on Xbox Series X/S. Publisher CI Games reported one million sales ten days after launch.
Claim window and subscription rules
If accurate, the PlayStation Plus Essential April titles will be claimable from April 7 to May 5. Games claimed during that window remain playable while a PlayStation Plus subscription is active.
Players can claim March’s Essential games until the morning of April 7. Those titles include several recently added releases.
- Monster Hunter Rise
- PGA Tour 2K25
- Slime Rancher 2
- The Elder Scrolls Online
Sony Interactive Entertainment has not yet confirmed the April lineup. If verified, the PlayStation Plus Essential April game leak suggests a free offer for subscribers.
