Stephen Curry Set to Rejoin Warriors’ Full Team Practices Soon

Stephen Curry will rejoin full team practices soon as he progresses in rehabilitation for a right knee problem. The Golden State guard missed his 21st consecutive game on Saturday.

Injury status and recent evaluations

Curry is being treated for patella-femoral pain syndrome and a bone bruise in his knee. He was re-evaluated earlier in the day, and the team reports steady progress.

He has increased individual on-court work in recent days. The Warriors plan another evaluation next week after the road trip ends.

Availability and timeline

If cleared in time, Curry could play in the Warriors’ Wednesday home game against the Nets. That would leave as many as 11 regular-season games for him to play.

The 38-year-old last appeared on Jan. 30 against Detroit. He also sat out the All-Star Game this season.

Team impact and standings

Curry leads Golden State with 27.2 points per game this season. The Warriors began Saturday 10th in the Western Conference at 33-37.

Golden State is essentially locked into a play-in tournament spot. The team is 23-16 with Curry, and 10-21 without him this year.

In the current stretch without Curry, the Warriors went 6-14.

Other roster updates

Guard Moses Moody was also re-evaluated after spraining his right wrist. He is slated to return to practice and will undergo another evaluation on Tuesday.
