Glasgow Venues Shine on Scotland’s Best Pubs and Bars Awards List

Finalists for the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards were revealed this week. Glasgow venues feature strongly across many categories.

Winners will be announced at a gala in Glasgow on April 30. The evening will include performances by JLS, Kelly Llorenna, The Cheeky Girls, and DJ Michael Kilkie.

The ceremony will be a seated dinner with live acts. Organisers say the line-up is designed to create a memorable night.

Voting, scale and industry impact

Awards Director Warren Paul highlighted the event’s longevity. He said the ceremony has run for 14 years and remains popular.

The organisers recorded more than 135,000 public votes this year. Engagement came from over 2,500 licensed premises across Scotland.

Paul said winning can raise a venue’s profile and help boost revenue. He stressed the importance of recognition during tough trading conditions.
