New Live-Action ‘Moana’ Trailer Invites You to Experience the Rock
Disney has released a new live-action Moana trailer ahead of the film’s July 10 release. The footage highlights a faithful visual approach and the return of Dwayne Johnson as Maui.

The live-action release follows strong franchise momentum. Moana 2 became a theatrical hit in 2024 after being retooled from a Disney+ series.
Last year’s live-action Lilo & Stitch performed well, helping renew confidence in Disney’s remakes. The studio had previously faced mixed reactions to its Snow White adaptation.
