White Joins England Squad, Replacing Eze for Friendlies
England have named their squad for two Wembley friendlies at the end of March. Ben White has been called up after Ebere Eze withdrew with injury.
The selection includes four Arsenal players. Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Noni Madueke and Ben White make up the club contingent.

England will host Uruguay on Friday, March 27. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 BST.
Japan visit Wembley on Tuesday, March 31. That match also kicks off at 19:45 BST.
England have already qualified for this summer’s World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. These friendlies form part of the final preparations.
Arsenal presence and player records
Four Gunners were named in the final group. Their inclusion strengthens the squad across positions.
Declan Rice leads the Arsenal group in experience. He has 72 caps and six England goals.
Bukayo Saka is close to a landmark. He sits on 48 caps and has scored 14 international goals.
Noni Madueke has made nine senior appearances and scored once. Ben White returns to the squad after a long absence.
White Joins England Squad, Replacing Eze for Friendlies
Ben White was added after Ebere Eze was ruled out due to injury sustained before the Carabao Cup final. The recall is his first national call-up since the 2022 World Cup.
White has four England caps in total. His last appearance came against Ivory Coast in March 2022.
Opponents’ warm-up plans
Uruguay and Japan have also secured World Cup places. Both nations have scheduled additional warm-up matches.
Uruguay will face Algeria as part of their preparations. Japan travel to Hampden Park to play Scotland.
