Over 30 No Kings Day Protests Planned Across Missouri

Organizers announced that March 28 will see more than 30 No Kings Day demonstrations across Missouri. The events form part of a nationwide nonviolent movement.

Mid-Missouri schedule

Six mid-Missouri gatherings were listed in the organizers’ release. Times and locations vary by city.

  • Columbia — Boone County Courthouse, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Jefferson City — Missouri State Capitol, noon to 1:30 p.m.
  • Boonville — Cooper County Courthouse, 11 a.m. to noon.
  • Fayette — Howard County Courthouse, 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Moberly — North Morley Street and East Coates Street, 11 a.m. to noon.
  • Fulton — Fulton City Hall, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Movement background

Organizers describe No Kings as a mass, nonviolent effort rejecting authoritarian power grabs. They say it seeks to protect dignity and freedom.

Nationwide participation

Protest turnout has been large nationwide. Organizers reported more than 5 million participants last June.

In October, they said over 7 million people attended more than 2,700 events across the country.
