Sam Smith Unveils Mexico City Residency: ‘To Be Free’ Tour Expands with Four Nights
Sam Smith has announced four residency dates at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional. The concerts are set for August 17, 18, 20 and 21, 2026.
Residency details and context
The Mexico City shows follow sold-out residencies in the United States. Sam played runs at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre and New York’s Warsaw with stripped-back acoustic sets.
The Auditorio Nacional holds about 10,000 people. The new dates continue the intimate “To Be Free” era around the single of the same name.
Presale and general ticket information
Presales begin March 23 at 11 AM CST via a Sam Smith presale. An HSBC exclusive presale runs March 25–26.
General tickets go on sale March 27 through Ticketmaster. Fans should expect fast sell-outs based on earlier runs.
