Bromley and Lewisham Trains Cancelled This Weekend

Planned engineering work will disrupt rail services across southeast London this weekend. The work affects Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22.

Passengers using stations around Lewisham and Bromley should expect changes. Trains serving Bromley and Lewisham will face cancellations and diversions.

Saturday, March 21

Engineering work at Lewisham closes the Bexleyheath line. Several services are altered or suspended for the day.

• Charing Cross to Dartford services via Bexleyheath will not run on Saturday.
• Victoria to Dartford and Victoria to Gravesend services will be suspended.
• Cannon Street to Slade Green trains via Bexleyheath will be diverted via Sidcup.
• Those diverted Cannon Street services will not call at Lewisham.
• Charing Cross services to Hayes will pass through without stopping at Lewisham.
• Charing Cross to Dartford via Sidcup will not stop at Lewisham.
• Charing Cross to Sevenoaks trains will not call at Lewisham.
• Cannon Street to Dartford via Lewisham and Woolwich Arsenal will be rerouted via Greenwich between London Bridge and Charlton.
• Replacement buses will operate between New Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath, calling at all stations.

Sunday, March 22

Work shifts to the lines between Brixton and Shortlands. Routes via Herne Hill and Beckenham Junction are closed for the day.

• Victoria to Orpington services will be diverted and will call at Denmark Hill.
• Those diverted trains will run non-stop between Denmark Hill and Shortlands.
• Brixton station will be closed for the whole day.
• Victoria to Ashford International via Maidstone East will run with altered timings for part of the journey.
• Replacement buses will run between Denmark Hill and Bromley South via Beckenham Junction.
• Replacement buses will call at all stations except Brixton.
• Herne Hill, West Dulwich, Sydenham Hill, Penge East, Kent House, and Beckenham Junction will be closed and served by buses instead.
