FBI Receives Final Nancy Guthrie Footage, Report Confirms

Authorities say they have obtained what may be the last known video of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie riding in an Uber the day before she disappeared. The surveillance clip has not been made public, officials said. It was seized early in the probe.

Footage and source

Crime Stories with Nancy Grace reported the existence of the in-car video. Investigative reporter Dave Mack said the Uber driver handed over all interior footage to investigators. Filmogaz.com could not immediately confirm the tape’s existence.

What investigators found

Investigators reviewed the material and described it as unremarkable. They reported no observable change in Guthrie’s demeanor or any notable exchange. The driver was interviewed at length and described the trip as a routine pick-up and drop-off.

Timeline around the disappearance

The clip reportedly shows Guthrie en route to her daughter Annie Guthrie’s home in Tucson, Arizona, on Jan. 31. That evening she had dinner at her daughter’s residence. Around 9:45 p.m., son-in-law Tommaso Cioni drove her home.

The next night, Feb. 1, a doorbell camera captured a masked person at Guthrie’s home. Investigators have publicly released that doorbell footage. It is the only video currently shared by authorities.

Investigative status

Officials confirmed the FBI received the final footage submitted in the case, a report confirms. Investigators say no family members are suspected in the disappearance. Guthrie is the mother of television journalist Savannah Guthrie.
