Status report
The Devils will dress the same 18 skaters they used in a 6-3 road win at the New York Rangers on Wednesday. Head coach kept the lineup intact after that victory.
Capitals coach Spencer Carbery said he will use the same skaters from Wednesday’s 4-1 win over Ottawa. He added he might tweak line combinations before puck drop.
David Kampf’s visa issues are resolved. He remains away from the team for the birth of his second child.
