RAYE and Hans Zimmer Release Empowering Single ‘Click Clack Symphony’
RAYE has released a new track titled Click Clack Symphony. The single, issued on Friday March 20, is a collaboration with composer Hans Zimmer. It previews her second album, This Music May Contain Hope, due March 27.
About the song
The empowering single pairs RAYE’s direct lyrics with cinematic production. Hans Zimmer contributes orchestral textures beneath urgent beats. The song acts as a pep talk about surviving dark patches and leaning on friends.
RAYE explained the concept as originating from the sound of high heels. She said it celebrates those who pull you outside when you feel stuck. The track builds from a rapid intro to a cathartic chorus.
Album context
This Music May Contain Hope is the follow-up to My 21st Century Blues. The record will arrive on March 27 and is divided into four “seasons.” Each side of the vinyl will represent a different season.
The album includes last September’s hit Where Is My Husband!, which NME named among 2025’s best songs. It also features Nightingale Lane, performed at the 2026 BRIT Awards.
Background and delays
Work on the album was interrupted in 2024 when RAYE’s car was stolen along with her songwriting notebooks. She later located the vehicle in October the following year, with the books reportedly untouched. That recovery allowed her to resume finishing the project.
Live shows and tour schedule
Click Clack Symphony had already been performed live when RAYE launched This Tour May Contain New Music in January. The run began in Łódź, Poland, and has since visited European and UK venues.
She will tour North America in April and May. Additional UK dates are planned later in the year. RAYE will also support Bruno Mars on his The Romantic Tour across North America in August, September and October.
