Sarah Mitton of Canada took silver in the women’s shot put in Toruń, Poland. The Brooklyn, Nova Scotia native had won the indoor world title in 2024 and 2025.
Her best effort measured 19.78 metres. American Chase Jackson won gold with a 20.14m toss.
Sweden’s Axelina Johansson took bronze. She set a Swedish record at 19.75 metres. The championships occurred in March 2026 in Toruń, Poland.
