Myles Smith to Rock Manchester with Major Arena Concert This Year

Placebo will return to Manchester to mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album. The band will perform reworked material from that first record during a UK arena run. The announcement came on March 18, 2026.

What RE:CREATED includes

The re-release is titled RE:CREATED. It features updated versions of all ten original tracks. Two previously unheard bonus songs are also included.

The band revisited original master tapes and added decades of live experience. The aim was to modernise the sound while keeping the album’s original spirit intact.

Manchester and UK dates

Placebo will visit Co-op Live in Manchester on 4 December 2026. That will be their first show at the new arena.

They have not played Manchester since November 2022, when they appeared at the AO Arena.

Setlist highlights

The shows will feature songs from the debut album. The band will also play fan favourites from Without You I’m Nothing.

Tickets and album timing

The album will be released on 19 June 2026. Pre-orders will provide early ticket access for fans.

Organisers confirmed presale windows in late March. Co-op Live members received an early access window at 09:00 on Wednesday 25 March. General sale began at 09:00 on Friday 27 March.
