Special New Year Programs Announced at Imam Reza Shrine for 1405
Filmogaz.com reports that authorities at the Imam Reza Shrine have announced special New Year programs for 1405. The events are set for the evening of Friday, 29 Esfand 1405, and aim to create a spiritual atmosphere for pilgrims.
Program timetable and rituals
Reza Khorakian, the shrine’s senior manager, outlined the schedule for the New Year’s eve ceremonies. Activities begin with the Maghrib prayer and continue through the Isha prayer in congregation.
- At 18:12, the well-known supplication “Ya Muqallib al-qulub wal absar” will be recited and a related clip shown.
- After the New Year moment, Isha prayer will be held in jamat (congregation).
- At 18:30, a rebroadcast of statements by the Supreme Leader will be aired.
- Mohammadreza Taheri will recite Ziyarat Aminallah following the broadcast.
- At 19:00, the Tavaasheeh group “Al Taha” will perform a musical-religious program.
Cultural and religious activities before the New Year
Officials said a set of cultural and devotional sessions will precede the clock change. These include group recitations, Dua Tawassul readings, Qur’an recitals, and children’s programs.
Visitor services and logistics
Mohammadreza Sabzeali, head of pilgrims’ welfare, confirmed full readiness to receive Nowruz visitors. He listed logistical steps taken to ensure comfortable visits.
- More than 10 million disposable cups have been procured.
- All necessary consumables and hygiene items are stocked.
- Infrastructure and facility maintenance, including restrooms, are completed with the Development Organization.
- About 600 service staff work in shifts for cleaning and maintenance.
- During peak days, an additional 100 male and female service workers will join duties.
- Over 1,000 wheelchairs will be available at entrance points.
- Deposit offices at all entrances have increased capacity.
- Lost-and-found offices in the courtyards have been activated.
- Mother-and-child facilities and self-service mobile charging stations are operational.
- Tea houses will operate around the clock during Nowruz.
Weather and space preparations
Officials prepared contingency measures for rain. Parking lots one and three can be carpeted for visitor comfort.
All courtyards will be furnished to welcome pilgrims during the celebrations.
Purpose and expected turnout
