NBA Legend Joins WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026
Sources say Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April. The ceremony is scheduled for Las Vegas next month. Filmogaz.com sources and a post by Shams Charania on March 20, 2026, reported the news.
The announcement had not yet been formally confirmed by WWE at press time. Rodman will become a two-time Hall of Famer. He is already in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
NBA career and legacy
Rodman is widely regarded as an elite defensive player. He earned a reputation during the Chicago Bulls dynasty of the 1990s.
He won three championships with the Bulls. He also won two titles with the Detroit Pistons, giving him five NBA rings total.
Rodman is a two-time NBA All-Star. He was twice named Defensive Player of the Year and made the All-Defensive First Team seven times between 1986 and 2000.
He was named among the NBA’s top 75 players. Rodman was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2011.
Wrestling history
Rodman first appeared in WCW in March 1997. He joined forces with “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan and the nWo stable.
His in-ring debut came at Bash at the Beach 1997. He teamed with Hogan and lost to Lex Luger and The Giant.
In 1998, Rodman drew headlines by skipping an NBA Finals practice to appear for WCW. That period included a public feud with Karl Malone.
The storyline with Malone reached Bash at the Beach 1998. Rodman and Hogan defeated Malone and Diamond Dallas Page at the pay-per-view.
He also wrestled at Road Wild 1999. There he faced “Macho Man” Randy Savage and came up short.
Rodman returned briefly to pro wrestling in 2023. He appeared for AEW on Collision and at All Out, accompanying The Acclaimed.
