‘Giggly Squad’ Earns Podcast of the Year at 2026 iHeartPodcast Awards
Giggly Squad captured Podcast of the Year at the 2026 iHeartPodcast Awards. The podcast is hosted by Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo. The duo rose to fame on Bravo’s Summer House.
The awards were handed out Monday night during SXSW. The win came over nominees such as Good Hang with Amy Poehler, Call Her Daddy and The Daily. The ceremony spotlighted podcasting across many genres.
Ceremony highlights
Comedian Ego Nwodim served as the evening’s host. The show featured a long list of presenters and guests. Appearances included Will Ferrell, Eric Andre, and Iliza Shlesinger.
Other presenters included Jennie Garth and Jonathan Goldstein. Lele Pons and Rider Strong also joined the lineup. Clayton Echard, Juju Green, Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark appeared as well.
Major honors and special awards
Good Hang with Amy Poehler won Best Comedy. Wisecrack took Best Crime after earlier recognition at the Ambie Awards.
iHeartMedia presented the Social Impact Award to Jay Shetty. The honor recognized his conversations around mental health. Terry Gross received the Audible Audio Pioneer Award for her career work.
