Police Arrest Three, Seize Eight Vehicles in West Midlands City Operation
West Midlands Police mounted a targeted traffic operation on Stratford Road on Wednesday. Hall Green Neighbourhood officers supported the force’s Roads Policing Unit throughout the day.

Speeding and targeted patrols
A separate speed check on Heartlands Parkway caught 68 drivers exceeding the limit. Those drivers were issued notices or fines.
The Roads Policing Unit maintained a visible presence to deter reckless driving. Their authority included powers to seize vehicles where needed.
Community reassurance ahead of Chaand Raat and Eid
Police say residents can expect a similar resource level for Chaand Raat and Eid. Officers will be concentrated in key community areas.
Work will be coordinated with council partners. Trading standards, environmental health, and parking enforcement will support patrols.
