Mircea Rednic was spotted at the Arena Națională to watch Dinamo’s match against Universitatea Craiova. The former Dinamo coach returned to the stands after more than five years away.
Return to the club he once led
Rednic made several coaching stops at Dinamo across two decades. His tenures included 2006-2007, 2008-2009, 2015-2016, 2018-2019 and 2021.
He kept a tense relationship with some club leaders in recent years. In 2021, he left following a dispute that ended after just 12 matches.

Legal battle with Dinamo
Rednic said he was told by WhatsApp that he would not continue in his last spell. He disputed the club’s handling of the separation and took the case to court.
The tribunal ruled in his favor. Dinamo was ordered to pay 32,000 euro, the equivalent of four salaries.
Current status
He has been without a contract for over six months after leaving Standard Liège. The public appearance fuels speculation about a possible return to coaching.
