The loss of her father

On March 13, 2026, Gledhill shared photographs and a tribute after her father died. She wrote that she felt fortunate to have been his daughter and to be with him at the end.

She recalled his early support at her fourth gig and his later presence at many shows. She described him as sentimental, generous, hardworking and a great entertainer who made people laugh until the end.
