Taylor Swift to Grace iHeartRadio Music Awards Stage

Taylor Swift will make an in-person appearance at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, iHeartMedia and Fox announced Wednesday. She will not perform, but her live presence is notable after a period of limited public appearances.

Broadcast and timing

The show will air March 26 from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Fox will broadcast live from 8-10 p.m. ET, with a tape-delayed airing on the west coast.

iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app will also carry the event live. The announcement came from the awards organizers midweek.

Nominations and Swift’s entries

Swift leads the iHeartRadio Music Awards with nine nominations. Most nods come from her single “The Fate of Ophelia.”

  • Artist of the Year
  • Song of the Year
  • Pop Song of the Year
  • Favorite TikTok Dance
  • Best Lyrics
  • Best Music Video
  • Favorite On Screen
  • Favorite Tour Style

Her streaming special, The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, also earned recognition. Taylor Swift is set to grace the iHeartRadio Music Awards stage with this high-profile presence.

New single and chart activity

Swift recently released “Elizabeth Taylor” as the third single from The Life of a Showgirl. The song went out for radio adds earlier this month.

It debuted on Billboard’s pop airplay charts this week. “Elizabeth Taylor” previously peaked at No. 3 on the Hot 100 the week Showgirl was released, based on streaming alone.

Following No. 1 successes for “Opalite” and “The Fate of Ophelia,” this marks the first time since 2022’s Midnights that she has officially released three singles from one album.

Hosts, honorees and performers

Ludacris will host the broadcast and receive the 2026 iHeartRadio Landmark Award. Several special honors were also revealed.

  • Miley Cyrus — iHeartRadio Innovator Award
  • Alex Warren — iHeartRadio Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award
  • John Mellencamp — iHeartRadio Icon Award

Performers announced so far include Ludacris, Alex Warren, John Mellencamp, Lainey Wilson and Raye. TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue will also appear together for the first time on the show.

Additional appearances

Other personalities scheduled to appear are Olympic skater Alysa Liu, Sombr, Nicole Scherzinger of the newly semi-reformed Pussycat Dolls, Ne-Yo, Nikki Glaser and Weezer. The lineup mixes music and mainstream personalities.

Production team

Executive producers for the telecast include Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannaé Rouzan-Clay for Jesse Collins Entertainment. iHeartMedia is represented by John Sykes, Tom Poleman and Bart Peters, alongside Fox Entertainment Studios.

Swift has been relatively low-key since promoting a pair of Disney+ specials in early December. She also did not attend this year’s Grammys, underscoring the significance of any live awards-show appearance.
