Former TOWIE Star Jordan Wright Discovered Dead in Thailand at 33
Jordan Wright, a former TOWIE star, was found dead in a drainage canal in Phuket. He was 33.
Circumstances of the discovery
Local authorities say his body was recovered from stagnant water near Bang Tao Beach. The discovery took place on Saturday, 14 March.
Police reported no visible signs of physical assault. Wright’s mobile phone was found close to the scene.
What officials have said
Police Lieutenant Colonel Suthirak Chuthong of Choeng Thale Police Station identified the man as Jordan Wright. He was described as a British national.
Investigators said hotel staff had been unable to reach him. They found no signs of forced entry in his room.
Hotel records and CCTV
Records show Wright checked in alone and was due to leave on 13 March. Staff reported he never checked out.
CCTV reportedly captured him appearing restless outside the hotel. Footage showed him pacing before walking away toward the area where his body was later found.
Autopsy and ongoing probe
Authorities believe Wright had been dead for no more than two days when found. The case remains under investigation.
Officials said they will not confirm the exact cause of death until autopsy results are released. CCTV files are part of the case file and will not be released at this stage.
Television career and background
Wright first appeared on MTV’s Ex on the Beach in 2017. He joined The Only Way is Essex in 2018 for 17 episodes.
After that series, he returned to his job as a firefighter. He had remained known to reality TV audiences from his time on both shows.
