Robin Roberts’ Documentary on Pat Summitt Debuts on Hulu
Robin Roberts announced on Good Morning America on March 19 that she produced a new documentary about Pat Summitt. The project spotlights the coach’s life and career. The film will debut on Hulu on March 25.

The documentary, titled Breaking Glass: The Pat Summitt Story, arrives on Hulu March 25. It will also air on ESPN2 on March 29. A separate broadcast follows on ESPN on April 5.

Award-winning director Dawn Porter led the film. Porter recently produced an Amazon WNBA documentary called Power of the Dream in 2024. Her work has appeared on ESPN, Netflix, HBO, PBS and Discovery.

Pat Summitt’s record and illness
Summitt coached the Tennessee Lady Vols from 1974 to 2012. She finished her career with 1,098 victories. She won her first national championship in 1987 and seven more after that.
Summitt received an early-onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis in 2011. She died in 2016 at age 64.
