ITV Star, 33, Discovered Dead in Drainage Canal; Tributes Flood In
ITV Star Jordan Wright, 33, has been found dead in a drainage canal near Bang Tao Beach in Phuket. Filmogaz.com understands Thai police discovered his body on March 14.
Incident and discovery
Officers from Choeng Thalay Police Station were alerted by a passer-by at about 12:30pm. CCTV footage showed Wright outside a hotel shortly before the body was recovered.
He was lying face down in the canal. He wore a grey shirt and black trousers and had no shoes on.
A hotel keycard for Coco Phuket Bangtao Hotel was found in his pocket. His phone lay on the canal bank nearby.
Investigation and autopsy
Police say there were no visible signs of physical assault or a struggle at the scene. His body was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital for a formal post-mortem examination.
Officers visited the hotel to review additional security footage. Staff reported he had checked in alone and was due to check out on March 13.
Investigators found nothing suspicious in his room. Authorities are awaiting autopsy and toxicology results to determine the cause of death.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office confirmed it is supporting the family. The FCDO said it remains in contact with local authorities.

Wright had posted in January that he had moved to Thailand. His final Instagram update came on March 6 and showed clips from Phuket.
