Valspar Championship: Experts Reveal Top Picks
The PGA TOUR fantasy season has a fresh format for 2026. Experts have updated their approach to betting and fantasy rosters.
New in-tournament rostering features arrive this year. The change alters captain choices and mid-event substitutions.
How the expert picks work
Each weekly lineup contains four starters and a captain. Teams also include two bench players who can be rotated after each round.
There is an additional constraint. Every golfer can be used only three times in each of the three segments.

Notable selections from the panel
Will Gray
Gray backed Brooks Koepka to finish Top 10 at odds of +315. He called Koepka a high-volatility option with clear upside after recent strong showings at PGA National and TPC Sawgrass.
Gray also named Adam Hadwin as his Top Canadian pick at +850. Hadwin is the 2017 champion and has three other finishes of T12 or better.
Chris Breece
Breece highlighted Corey Conners for End of Round 1 Top 10 at +500. He noted Conners has produced solid Thursday form over the last two weeks.
Breece also favored a Top 20 parlay of Brooks Koepka, Jacob Bridgeman, and Viktor Hovland at +1100. He cited roster construction and each player’s plus odds as the reason.
Jimmy Reinman
Reinman pegged Lee Hodges for a Top 20 finish at +315. Hodges led briefly at TPC Sawgrass before fading and still gained over five strokes combined off the tee and on the greens.
He also backed Jacob Bridgeman to win at +1800 if several top names were excluded. Reinman praised Bridgeman’s coast-to-coast form and pointed to the 18/1 value without the top dogs.
Recent on-course highlight
Brooks Koepka executed a 91-yard approach to three feet at THE PLAYERS. That shot set up a birdie on No. 1 and underlined his short-game potential.
