Hofstra Clinches CAA Championship Victory Against Monmouth
Hofstra secured the CAA tournament title with a 75-69 victory over Monmouth. The game took place at CareFirst Arena in Washington, DC. Preston Edmead earned Most Outstanding Player honors after scoring a game- and season-high 26 points.

The third-seeded Pride overcame fourth-seeded Monmouth in a close contest. Neither team led by more than seven points in the matchup.
Hofstra grabbed the lead for good when Silas Sunday converted a layup with 14:29 remaining. Sunday later hit two free throws to push the margin to 58-51 with 9:01 left.
Monmouth closed to 66-65 on a Justin Ray three with 1:18 on the clock. German Plotnikov hit a timely three-pointer, and Edmead sank free throws down the stretch. Cruz Davis and Plotnikov sealed the outcome with late free throws.
