MEGACON Orlando 2026 Kicks Off Thursday: Essential Details Inside

MEGACON Orlando 2026 kicks off Thursday at the Orange County Convention Center. The multi-genre pop culture event runs through Sunday and draws fans of comics, cosplay, gaming, anime, and more.

Location and show hours

The convention occupies the West Concourse off International Drive. Ticketing and customer service operate from West Hall E on the north side.

Show hours are Thursday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional screenings and after-hours parties occur outside regular hours.

Tickets and pricing

A four-day pass costs $159 and includes early entry at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Single-day adult tickets remain for all days.

Youth single-day tickets (ages 13–17) are sold out Thursday through Saturday. Sunday youth tickets are $59. Child tickets for ages 6–12 cost $15. Family passes, covering two adults and up to four children ages 6–12, are available except for Saturday. Prices are $71 Thursday, $115 Friday, and $133 Sunday. All tickets and a free kids coupon with adult purchase are available on the MEGACON website.

Parking and transit

Organizers advise prepaying for parking. Designated lots are located throughout the International Drive area.

Lot 1 at the West Concourse is sold out for the weekend. Many advanced lots are sold out for Saturday, with availability on other days.

  • Prices vary by lot and can reach $40.
  • Most lots provide shuttle service; verify each lot’s hours and shuttle access on the parking map.

Celebrity lineup and photo ops

The event hosts dozens of TV and film stars, voice actors, creators, and online personalities. Organizers list roughly 74 celebrity guests this year.

Autographs and professional photo opportunities are available on the days guests appear. Prices and availability are listed on the guest pages. Some talent charges for selfies at their tables; bring cash since not all tables accept cards. ATMs are on site.

Panels, activities, and amenities

Programming includes panels, gaming rooms, film screenings, a reading library, and fan meetups. Workshops cover costume building, robotics, and special effects. An Escape Room, vehicle photo-ops, and robot builders will be present.

There are family zones and a quiet room. Multiple costume contests include a kids category. After-hours events run each night of the convention.

Entry, security, and accessibility

Attendees will pass through bag checks and prop inspections. Badges must be activated before entry and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Lost or damaged activated badges require a $5 replacement. Medical stickers provide accessible seating when available. Service dogs only are allowed. Schedules and maps are available via the MEGACON mobile app and website.
