Host and notable contributors

Roisin Conaty will host the show. This marks her debut as a podcast presenter. On-screen she plays the sidekick to Jimmy Carr in the TV series.

Celebrity fans and planned conversations

Fans and superfans also appear. Actress Natalie Cassidy, author Emily Dean and stand-up performer Faitha El-Ghorri are listed among contributors.

Planned segments pair talent and fans. Amy Gledhill and Harriet Kemsley will review favourite moments from both seasons. Joe Wilkinson and Natalie Cassidy will react to the new cast and revisit Wilkinson’s memorable bits. Diane Morgan and Emily Dean will host a joint conversation about the show.

Release plan and production credits

The podcast will follow the show’s episode schedule. Audible will publish three episodes on March 19, two on March 26, and a finale on April 2.

It will be available through Audible and across other podcast platforms. Production is handled for Audible Originals by Banijay companies Zeppotron and Initial.

Series context and format

Last One Laughing started as the Japanese series Documental. Amazon later acquired the international rights to the format. The format has been adapted in multiple countries, but no U.S. version exists yet.

The TV format places ten comics together. Each tries to make opponents laugh while keeping a straight face themselves.
