2026 Oscars Red Carpet: Best Dressed at the 98th Academy Awards at Dolby Theatre
Hollywood's biggest night brought its biggest fashion moments. The stars descended on the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday evening ahead of the 98th Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O'Brien on ABC. From Old Hollywood glamour to dramatic feathered gowns, the 2026 Oscars red carpet delivered.
Where to Watch the 2026 Oscars
The 98th Academy Awards air live on ABC and stream on Hulu and Hulu+ Live TV on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
Best Dressed: The Standout Looks of the Night
Kate Hudson was among the night's most jaw-dropping arrivals. Hudson sparkled in a seafoam green Giorgio Armani Privé gown covered in crystal embroidery, with a strapless sweetheart neckline and sculpted peplum waist. She accessorized with Garatti jewelry including a statement necklace featuring more than 41 carats of rare green diamonds valued at roughly $35 million. She walked the carpet alongside her mother Goldie Hawn, who wore a black embellished gown with a plunging sheer embroidered bodice and black opera gloves.
Rose Byrne turned heads in head-to-toe Dior. The Best Actress nominee for If I Had Legs I'd Kick You donned a black Dior dress that dipped halfway down her back, with beaded flowers echoing themes from designer Jonathan Anderson's sophomore collection shown earlier this month.
Jessie Buckley continued her fashion winning streak. The Hamnet star continued her Chanel streak in a custom pink bustier chiffon dress with a red satin leather stole inspired by a look Grace Kelly wore to the Oscars in the 1950s.
Demi Moore delivered the night's most dramatic entrance. Moore arrived in a strapless custom Gucci feathered gown covered in iridescent green embellishments, with a plume of black feathers at the neckline and layers of black and dark green feathers flowing into a feathered train. She accessorized with diamond and emerald drop earrings, a diamond bracelet and a ring.
Emma Stone went for understated elegance. Stone was a picture of class and grace in a simple but chic white dress adorned with shimmering details — her Louis Vuitton loyalty holding strong.
Heidi Klum turned heads in pearls. The supermodel wore a gorgeous pearl-draped floor-length gown in a flattering beige color, perfectly coordinating the dress with multiple strands of pearls.
Teyana Taylor stunned in feathers and diamonds. The One Battle After Another nominee wore a black-and-white feather gown by Matthieu Blazy, complemented by a platinum Tiffany & Co. necklace with a diamond of over 18 carats.
Gwyneth Paltrow commanded the carpet in white. Paltrow arrived in a strapless white silk custom Giorgio Armani Privé column gown completely slit down the sides, paired with a diamond necklace and matching rings and stud earrings.
Nicole Kidman kept it sleek. Kidman chose a strapless nude look for her return to the Dolby Theatre, arriving in the company of daughter Sunday Rose.
The Men's Red Carpet at the 2026 Oscars
Timothée Chalamet arrived in a striking all-white tailored suit, having considered skipping the carpet entirely. Michael B. Jordan brought a sleek modern edge in a sharply tailored black ensemble. Brad Pitt kept it classic in his traditional black-and-white tuxedo, nominated as a producer for F1.
Blues legend Buddy Guy wore his signature black-and-white polka dots on the red carpet as a heartfelt tribute to his late mother Isabelle Guy, while Shaboozey hit the carpet in a sharply tailored black tuxedo with pearl details and a jeweled brooch ahead of performing the Oscar-nominated song "I Lied to You" from Sinners.
McKenna Grace Channels Grace Kelly
One of the night's most talked-about early arrivals was McKenna Grace, whose peony-pink dress and matching floor-length stole was described as "a page neatly torn from the Old Hollywood playbook" — channeling the spirit of Grace Kelly herself.
The 98th Academy Awards ceremony is airing now on ABC and streaming on Hulu, with Best Picture and Best Director still to come.
